Our Speakers

Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Nauck is advancing quality standards in laboratory medicine. As Head of the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine at University Medicine Greifswald, he combines clinical expertise with a focus on diagnostic excellence.

He has played a key role in shaping national guidelines as an advisor to the German Medical Association since 2012 and has chaired its quality advisory board since 2015.

With over 660 publications and more than 20,000 citations, his research has made a lasting impact on the field.

Daniel Blak is driving innovation in clinical logistics. As CEO of SARSTEDT ApS, he develops high-speed transport systems like Tempus600® and Tempus1800® to connect hospital wards with laboratories.

With a background in toolmaking and two decades of entrepreneurial experience, he launched his first system in 2011 in collaboration with Danish hospitals.

Today, his work focuses on integrating smart logistics with IT and robotics to improve efficiency and patient care across hospitals and medical practices.

Christian Schläpfer is shaping the logistics networks of the future. As an expert in digital value chains and process optimization, he develops innovative solutions for connected and efficient healthcare logistics.

He served as the overall project manager for SCM and intralogistics in the comprehensive renewal of the University Hospital Zurich (USZ), where he redesigned key supply processes.

His work has received multiple awards, including the Swiss Logistics Award (2018) and the Leipzig Innovation Award for Hospital Logistics (2022).
